The Westway Sports Centre, once again, played host to the 2nd Annual Unity Cup, with over 150 registered players, representing 39 different nationalities. There were 19 teams, a slight reduction from the previous year, but for the first time the event was fully organised by FC Unity’s Young Leaders, who are made up of young Londoners from diverse ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds, who made a fantastic job in promoting liberal values of tolerance and togetherness amongst young people in the capital through football. The ultimate winners of the 2nd Annual UNITY Cup London were Nigerian community team Woolwich Dockyard.
